Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Coordinator, Patient Relations -Alternating weekdays plus Saturdays 9 AM to 5 PM.
In this role, the successful candidate The Patient Relations Coordinator serves as a liaison between the patient families, clinicians and other hospital staff. The Coordinator assists patients/families in understanding hospital policies, procedures, in obtaining satisfactory solutions to problems or concerns related to the Patient Bill of Rights compliance to regulatory standards and hospital service. The Coordinator may initially handle grievance via a call or during rounding, documents the concern appropriately in the Patient Feedback System and forwards it to the assigned Patient Relations Specialist for resolution.
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree required with 2 years' experience or 60 college credits with 4 years of experience. Some formal training in medical interpretation is desirable.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $56,300.00 - $75,790.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
