Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Training Coordinator to train across departments on Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and to audit and improve SWIs. The role supports new employee onboarding and serves as an operations SME on project teams.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year training background, logistics knowledge, and strong communication skills, with on-site work in Locust Grove, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the logistics industry.
• 2 years of training/coaching experience.
• Experience with Raymond Corporation reach truck, order picker and turret truck.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized information.

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Support leadership by providing training to team members across several departments on Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Powered Industrial Truck Certifications
• Play an active role in the development and implementation of new employee introductory program
• Participate on project teams as an operations subject matter expert
• Communicate with and give feedback to process owners and management

What you need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the logistics industry

It’d be great if you also have:

• 2 years of training/coaching experience
• Experience with Raymond Corporation reach truck, order picker and turret truck
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
