Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2-3 years' experience in higher education.
• Working knowledge of Banner, Excel, and Microsoft.
• Familiarity with eRezlife is a plus.

Responsibilities

• All housing assignments utilizing ULM's eRezlife program.
• Oversee application process for each semester.
• Maintain accurate housing records including posting charges in Banner, occupancy reports, room changes, and processing delinquency notices.
• Balance the needs of multiple ULM entities such as Athletics and International Students as they relate to housing needs.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside vendors to prepare buildings/rooms for residents.
• Work with Warhawk Village Apartments staff on assignments, room changes and contracts.

Job description

Maintain accurate housing records to include assignments in eRezlife program, charges in Banner Housing fee tables, occupancy reports, Excel spreadsheets, room changes, cancellations, building access, and process delinquency notice, if necessary.

Under the supervision of the Director of Residential Life, the Housing Operations Manager is responsible for:

1. All housing assignments utilizing ULM's eRezlife program.
2. Oversee application process for each semester.
3. Maintaining accurate housing records which include posting charges in Banner, occupancy reports, excel spreadsheets, room changes, cancellation, building access and processing delinquency notices if necessary.
4. Balancing the needs of multiple ULM entities such as Athletics, International Students, etc. as it relates to housing needs.
5. Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside vendors to prepare buildings/rooms for residents.
6. Work with the managing staff at Warhawk Village Apartments on all assignments, room changes and contracts.

Additional:

1. Some after hours and weekend work is required.
2. Help to maintain a culture of customer service for existing residents and new students inquiring and applying for housing.
3. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Residential Life.

Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field and 2-3 years' experience working in higher education. A qualified candidate should have working knowledge of Banner, Excel, and Microsoft. Familiarity with eRezlife a plus.
