Job description
Responsibilities
  • Preparing online requisitions and budget transfers; Provide accounting support for department including purchase orders, payment requests, requisitions and financial reports;
  • Manage game contracts and other related business office documents;
  • Manage facility schedule of practices, competition and classrooms;
  • Manage and process online ticket sales and in-office pre-season sales;
  • Coordinate with campus departments on the deposits of ticket sales, camp fees, gifts received and guarantee checks;
  • Oversee office equipment maintenance and inventory;
  • Oversee University purchasing-card holders monthly reporting and documentation;
  • Manage scholarship, institutional and work-study clearance approvals for the department;
  • Organize and supervise a student workers staff to assist with office and ticket operations;
  • Assist in game day operations;
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent background experience; demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; computer proficiencies, and ability to work athletics events evenings and weekends. Knowledge and commitment toNCAA,GLVCand institutional rules and legislation.

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working events involving cash handling, reconciliation, working in a business office, customer-oriented setting, Master’s degree and minimum 2 years related experience.
