Job description

Coordinator, Norton Medical Group Access Center, Days

The Access Center Coordinator completes a variety of tasks to ensure proper patient experience throughout the Norton Healthcare system. The initiatives taken by the Access Center Coordinator contribute to overall patient experience, quality of care, and fulfillment of the Norton mission, vision, and values. Bi-lingual in Spanish & English speaking preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling medical provider appointments for patients within primary care and specialty offices
  • Scheduling appropriately based on clinical protocols, availability, and payor source
  • Acting as a liaison between patients and physician offices
  • Working effectively in a team-oriented environment to provide quality patient care
  • Managing appointment requests via phone (inbound and outbound) and electronic requests
  • Supporting physician offices through management of designated work queues
  • Performing well in a high-volume setting while directly addressing customer needs

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of customer service experience with external and/or internal customers
