Job description

Pay Range

$17.83 - $28.19

Purpose

This position is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Operations Manager in overseeing warehouse operations in the order picking and put-away areas, ensuring on-time shipments, and holding daily pre-work meetings to communicate information to team members. This role will coordinate with a team of 4 to 6 members, ensuring inventory accuracy, coaching team members on quality work performance, and maintaining superior customer service.


Major Responsibilities
  1. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free
  2. Handle specific customer orders to ensure accurate picking and shipment
  3. Assist in physical inventories
  4. Coordinate with other warehouse departments for efficient product flow
  5. Ensure proper stock rotation and availability of supplies (RF units, batteries, equipment, etc.)
  6. Evaluate and monitor warehouse associates on procedures and performance
  7. Lead and participate in meetings to discuss quality and improvement opportunities, providing coaching and training
  8. Document attendance, conduct reviews, and mentor team members in productivity, quality, and safety
  9. Handle conflicts, process requests, and lead team-building activities
  10. Update daily task statuses, manage reports, assessments, and equipment status
  11. Operate equipment safely following prescribed methods
  12. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
  13. Maintain warehouse flow, planning, and a clean, organized environment
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • Two to five years of recent work experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Self-starter with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • OSHA and/or Forklift Certification preferred
Working Conditions
  • Hourly position with potential hours exceeding 8 per day or 40 per week
  • Frequent exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise level moderate to noisy
Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability to exert 30-60 pounds occasionally and 20-30 pounds frequently; handle and feel with hands; stand, walk, reach, climb, and crouch regularly.

Store Support Center Associates

Provide leadership and support safety training, ensuring proper training and safety compliance. Immediate reporting of safety concerns is required.
