JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Coordinator, Materials (Customer Service) FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt
REPORTS TO: Manager, Materials
SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for materials planning in a manufacturing setting. Duties may include any of the following: gathering, recording, and analysis of customer requirements and forecast information. Maintaining and improving customer contacts. Developing and coordinating production plans in compliance with Summit Polymers, Inc. manufacturing systems and customer shipping requirements. Creation and maintenance of bills of lading, and customer‑required documentation based on customer daily release and forecast information.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Business or related degree or (1) year experience in Materials, Planning and Logisitics in a lean manufacturing environment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position typically does not require any travel.
