Performance Food Group is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to assist the Logistics Manager in daily inbound logistics operations, negotiating freight costs and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsible for assisting the Logistics Manager in effectively managing the entire daily operations of inbound logistics in order to acquire control of inbound freight at less than delivered price to enhance bottom line income for the company. Solves freight problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where some standardization exists. Analyzes work-related situations and make decisions in an effective and timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Required Experience: 6 - 12 Months
Logistics / transportation administrative support experience in related area.
Preferred Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Preferred Experience: 1 - 2 Years
