The TJX Companies, Inc. in Winchester, VA seeks a Manager on Duty to lead the store team and uphold policy while ensuring excellent customer service. You will coach associates, manage opening/closing procedures, and coordinate coverage to maintain a positive shopping experience.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months in a leadership capacity, with strong communication and organizational skills. A flexible schedule and focus on safety are essential.

• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

This position has a starting pay range of USD $15.75 to $16.25 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
