Clarvida seeks an Independent Living Coordinator to support youth and families in Huntingdon County, PA. This community-based role emphasizes building relationships, organizing services, and advocating for youth development and successful transitions into adulthood.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or equivalent in a related field (or a qualifying combination), valid Pa driver’s license, and a commitment to compliant documentation and cross-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with at least 12 credits in Human Services (psychology, sociology, counseling, etc.).
• Associate’s Degree with 2 years’ experience working with children, youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain ongoing contact with youth referred through Huntingdon County Children & Youth Services.
• Conduct approved assessments and assist youth in developing Independent Living Goal Plans within the first month of service.
• Complete quarterly reviews of Independent Living Plans with participating youth.
• Schedule, plan, and facilitate group activities based on youth needs and availability.
• Collaborate with families, county agencies, and community partners to support service goals.
• Provide guidance, support, and resource coordination to youth and families.
• Prepare and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including case notes.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and program requirements.
• Attend meetings, case reviews, and court proceedings as needed.
• Provide professional court testimony when required.

About Your Role

Clarvida is seeking an Independent Living Coordinator to support youth and families involved with Huntingdon County Children & Youth Services. In this role, you will work directly with children, adolescents, and families to promote independent living skills, goal attainment, and successful transitions into adulthood. This is a community-based position that requires strong relationship-building skills, organization, documentation accuracy, and the ability to coordinate services while advocating for youth needs and development.

Responsibilities

Perks Of This Role

• Schedule is typically 8am to 4:30pm, M-F (is dependent on the families’ needs)
• Competitive pay rate! $18.00 to $19.00 per hour based on education and experience
• Quarterly Productivity Bonus of $250 for meeting productivity requirements

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field; OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in an unrelated field with a minimum of 12 credits in a Human Services related course; i.e. psychology, sociology, counseling etc.
• Or Associate's Degree with 2 years' experience working with children, youth, and families
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license with good driving record
