What You’ll Do

Authentic Live leverages Authentic’s portfolio of world‑renowned IP, such as Sports Illustrated, Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali, Shaquille O’Neal, David Beckham, Reebok, Champion, Frye, Lucky Brand, and more, to build premium experiential platforms at the intersection of sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and culture.

As the Business Development Coordinator, you will support the expansion of this experiential portfolio across both U.S. and international markets. Reporting to the VP, Global Business Development, you will help identify whitespace opportunities with sports leagues, cultural events, music and hospitality partners, and brands actively investing in live experiences. You will support prospecting, market mapping, legal processing, and proposal development, helping turn IP into scalable live experiences for partners, sponsors, and talent.

What you’ll be working on

  • Opportunity Scouting (U.S. & Global):Help identify emerging opportunities where Authentic‑owned IP, such as Sports Illustrated, Muhammad Ali, Shaquille O’Neal, David Beckham, Champion, Juicy Couture, Frye, and Lucky Brand, can come to life through experience‑led concepts across key sports, cultural, and hospitality moments.
  • Business Development Research:Assist in researching sports leagues, cultural events, music and hospitality venues, agencies, and brands that are actively investing in experiential strategies, helping inform new business outreach, revenue potential, and partnership mapping.
  • Experience Concept Support:Through research and administrative support, assist with the development of early‑stage experience concepts that leverage Authentic’s IP, paired with audience, territory, talent, or cultural relevance, and help shape how these ideas can become pitchable opportunities.
  • Category & Territory Mapping:Help build simple briefs that outline market dynamics, cultural trends, league calendars, brand presence, and where we see whitespace for partnership or revenue‑based opportunity.
  • Proposal & Revenue Support Materials:Assist in preparing pitch decks, case studies, opportunity snapshots, capability one‑pagers, and pricing frameworks, assembling materials that will help articulate value for new partnership and revenue‑generating opportunities.
  • Sales & Partner Coordination:Maintain trackers for conversations, follow‑ups, and next steps with potential partners, helping keep deal flow organized while building visibility on revenue progress, timing, and active priorities.
  • Legal Support & Processing:– Help route NDAs, event agreements, and term sheets for review and signatures
    – Track document versions, status, and internal approvals
    – Maintain clean documentation so BD, legal, and finance have visibility at all stages of the process.
  • Cross‑Functional Alignment:Support coordination across operations, production, brand, legal, finance, and marketing to gather inputs for deck building, partner requests, budgets, approvals, timelines, and legal documentation.
  • Pipeline Visibility & Reporting:Help keep business development trackers up to date, including active opportunities, next steps, partner intel, and category or territory mapping, to help leadership evaluate pipeline health and revenue potential.
  • Meeting & Partner Prep:Help prepare briefs ahead of meetings, pull relevant case studies, organize supporting visuals, and track follow‑up actions—helping set the stage for strong partner‑facing conversations

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sport/Entertainment Management, or related
  • 1–3 years experience in partnerships, events, sponsorship, legal coordination, or business development support role
  • Strong research, organization, and project tracking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, writing summaries, emails, notes, outreach support
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and basic CRM / doc management tools
  • Interest in business development, legal operations, and experiential partnerships
  • Ability to handle multiple work streams and assist with prioritization under evolving deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as required by business priorities
  • Curious and Culturally Aware– Shows interest in how brands, leagues, and cultural events connect with audiences through experiences.
  • Organized and Detail‑Focused – Keeps documents, timelines, versions, and partner materials accurate and easy to follow.
  • Strong Communicator and Team Player – Works well across teams and supports senior leads with clear, proactive communication.

Primary Location Salary Range:

$65,000 - $75,000
