Summary

The Coordinator – Equipment Logistics is responsible for the processing of inbound and outbound equipment for the flawless execution of events. This role involves the daily processing and staging of rental equipment in accordance with procedures to ensure reservation integrity and equipment readiness. It requires teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.

This position supports our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. It is based full-time in-office and/or on-site at McCook, IL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Process returned equipment according to policies and procedures.
  2. Sort inbound equipment, including Sub-Rentals and Equipment Transfers.
  3. Identify, vet, and record lost and missing equipment.
  4. Prioritize work based on outbound needs.
  5. Pull, stage, and scan outbound equipment as per policies and procedures.
  6. Maintain records in required systems (e.g., R2).
  7. Communicate with Quality Control, Inventory Control, and Transportation regarding order needs, changes, and readiness.
  8. Escalate issues related to missing or damaged equipment.
  9. Address space constraints.
  10. Perform scheduled cycle counts as assigned.
  11. Support on-site additions following established policies.
  12. Assist in training and developing warehouse staff.
  13. Ensure safety and risk policies are followed.
  14. Promote teamwork and communication across warehouse operations.
  15. Support other departments as needed.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in event production or warehouse operations.
  • 1 year experience with Inventory Management Software preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Google Sheets.
  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle issues quickly and effectively.
