Job summary

Palms Casino Resort seeks an Entertainment Coordinator to assist in live event operations across venues. You will collaborate with Guest Services, Ushers, VIP staff and tour managers to ensure successful events and rider compliance, while handling room blocks and transportation requests.

The role requires 21+ with hospitality experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience required and one year of experience within a hotel/gaming property preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain/renew government licenses, e.g., Nevada Gaming license, if required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Palms Casino Resort venues on entertainment nights and coordinate with Guest Services, Ushers, VIP personnel.
  • Ensure rider requirements are met and contracts for Entertainers are executed.
  • Submit room blocks and finalize rooming lists with Hotel Group Reservations and VIP Services.
  • Inspect VIP suites and prepare overnight arrival packages; connect Tour Managers to folios after checkout.
  • Submit Ground Transportation requests and assist with ticketing payments; balance cash with leadership; maintain PCI compliance.
  • Respond to guest concerns before and during events; escalate as needed.
  • Update weekly reports; schedule meetings and walkthroughs; organize files and backups.
  • Enter payment requisitions, perform invoicing, manage vendor relations; track payments.
  • Respond to venue inquiries via phone and email; audit property screens for show rotations; assist front of house setup.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Job description

Working closely with the Manager of Theater Operations and Box Office Manager, the Entertainment Coordinator will play an important role in operating Live Events.Core Responsibilities:Assists in multiple Palms Casino Resort venues as needed on entertainment nights; collaborates with Guest Services, Ushers, and VIP personnel to ensure events are successful.Assists with ensuring rider requirements are met and contract processes are executed for Entertainers.Work with Hotel Group Reservations, Hotel VIP Services, and Touring Parties to submit room blocks and finalize rooming lists. Inspect VIP suites and prepare overnight arrival packages. Help connect Tour Managers to final folios after checkout.Submit Ground Transportation requests when applicable.Assist with collecting payments for ticketing needs. Balances monies at the end of the shift with leadership present. Follow cash handling and inventory procedures to ensure security of assets and inventory while maintaining PCI compliance.Resolve problems and respond to policy or procedural questions as needed. Handles all customer concerns before and during events, inclusive of any formal complaint resolutions. Escalate guest issues as needed.Assist with ticket holds, ticket counts, and processing promotional tickets.Update weekly reports. Schedule meetings and walkthroughs.Organize files and backup.Enter payment requisitions, invoicing, vendor relations. Track payments.Respond to guest phone calls and emails.
