Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking a professional to support truck procurement and drayage operations for North America. You will handle rate procurement, execution, completion and billing, coordinating with multiple internal teams to optimize processes and reduce costs.

The role emphasizes analytics, strong communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Hellogic and BI tools is a plus, with opportunities for career growth within a global logistics

Qualificações

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years intermodal/drayage or seafreight operations experience.
• Proficiency with Hellogic, Compcare / VI and Business Objects is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics regularly reviews our pay ranges against industry standards to ensure fairness.The incumbent will be responsible for supporting truck procurement and functional oversight of drayage operations for North America. Responsible for various tasks associated with truck procurement and operations (rate procurement, execution, completion and billing), in accordance with Hellmann policies and procedures. The incumbent will interact with regional stations/branches within North America, Finance, Pricing, Sales, and other various functions relating to North American drayage activities. In addition, there is frequent communicationESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Procurement of truck rates• Day to day operational management of Compcare / VI – Visual Intermodal (execution, codes, carriers, users, etc.).• Through measurement and analysis of drayage operations, identify opportunities for process enhancement and cost reduction. Identify best practices throughout North America for quality control activities. Ensure these practices are communicated and implemented where applicable.• Assist in executing quality control functions (systems and data accuracy) for Compcare / VI (Visual Intermodal).• Assist in vendor Invoice Reconciliation – Monitor and assist to ensure KPI’s are met.• Vendor KPI’s - develop, monitor, and report (timely workorder completion, billing, communication, etc).• Performs other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not supervise any direct reports.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:• Associate’s Degree (A.A.) from a two-year college preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement• One to two years’ experience in intermodal/drayage operations or similar preferred• One to three years’ experience in seafreight operations required• Solid understanding of processes and systems; knowledge and use of Hellogic, Outlook and Business Objects a plus.• Experience with compliance related projects desired• Knowledge of trucking operations a plus• Prior experience communicating with truckers a plusKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES• Systems experience Hellogic, Compcare / VI (Visual Intermodal), Business Objects a plus• Ability to simultaneously participate in multiple projects required• Must possess strong analytical skills directed toward complex problems and viable solutions• Must be self-motivated, seek opportunities and open to new approaches and ideas• Exceptional communication and cooperative skills required• Organizational skills• Time management and prioritization• Customer-focused• Adaptable / flexible to high-pressured environment• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Email, and Internet• Proficient in world geography, shipping documentation, and Incoterms preferred• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as freight rates, discounts, and other percentagesPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT• Frequently required to stand, and walk• Regularly required to sit for extended periods• Regularly uses arms to reach, hands and fingers for computer and phone use• Speaking clearly and listening for heavy phone contact• Requires close-up and computer screen distance vision ability• Requires occasional overnight travelReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The work environment characteristics are similar of those of an office setting with various office equipment.Inclusion and social diversity are firmly anchored values in our corporate culture.
