This position is designated as an Administrative and Professional and serves without a fixed term and at the pleasure of the President, pursuant to the University's Handbook of Operation Procedures 5-1230, "Appointment and Term of Appointment for Administrative Professionals."
The Coordinator, Donor Relations supports the Longhorn Foundation's donor stewardship and engagement strategy, with a primary focus on Annual Fund and Longhorn Foundation membership benefit activation, fulfillment, and donor engagement. Working under the direction of the Assistant Director, Donor Relations, this position helps create a consistent, personalized, and high-quality experience for Longhorn Foundation donors throughout the donor lifecycle.
Bachelor's degree. One year of experience in development, donor relations and/or stewardship or in an applicable intercollegiate athletics position. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, along with a demonstrated ability to proactively think critically, and balance concurrent priorities. Strong attention to detail and a high standard of excellence. Ability to be flexible when confronted with a multitude of changing priorities. Must be able to multi-task and effectively prioritize multiple events, requests, and situations. Ability to work in a team environment where a project's success is determined by both the individual and team's efforts. Excellent communications skills, verbal and written. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
More than one year experience in executing and planning events, and/or developing high-end special events/dinners or related experience in higher education or intercollegiate athletics. Stewardship fulfilment experience. Experience with budget management and vendor contract management. A familiarity with athletics fundraising.
This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing).

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
