Job Summary
Named after a prestigious woman in American medicine, the Augusta Webster, MD, Office of Medical Education (A.W.O.M.E.) is the heart of the medical school and a hub for many student activities. AWOME is charged with supporting students and faculty of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, including the academic, personal, and professional development of Feinberg medical students.
This position directly supports the core mission to deliver a premier medical education experience and educate the physicians of tomorrow.
The Curriculum Coordinator provides direction in reviewing & recommending policy & procedure designed to enhance operational excellence of a program/project in order to ensure success.Ensures the effective, compliant, & efficient daily management of all functions in support of the educational mission.

This position is located in the Augusta Webster, MD, Office of Medical Education (AWOME) within the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (FSM; Chicago campus) and directly supports the core mission to deliver a premier medical education experience and educate the physicians of tomorrow.
The creative and team-centered individual in this role collaborates with staff, physician educators, scientists, and students in the comprehensive development, organization, implementation, maintenance and assessment of the Undergraduate Medical Education Curriculum of the Feinberg School of Medicine.
Following educational best practices, the Curriculum Coordinator proactively supports the day-to-day operations of curriculum and continuous quality improvement activities to meet the needs of students as they navigate the curriculum.Participates in cultivating a culture of support as students
develop their skills, intellectual discipline, compassion and professionalism through on-campus and community learning and experiences.
The person in this position reports to the Senior Curriculum Coordinator and works closely with the Curriculum Coordinator team, Associate Dean for Curriculum, other education leadership, and AWOME staff and faculty.

Target hiring range for this position will be between $56,782 - 79,850 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
