Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Contract Management Coordinator to support licensing partnerships across our brands and franchises. This role reports to the Director, Contract Operations and ensures precise processing from deal memo to revenue recognition.

The ideal candidate will coordinate across finance, legal, and IT, maintain CRM and RightsLogic data, and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. Opportunity for growth within Consumer Products.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in contract administration, licensing, consumer products, sales operations, finance, legal operations, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, leverage data, and follow issues through resolution.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Strong aptitude for learning and navigating enterprise systems and complex business processes.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate licensing agreements throughout the contract lifecycle, from deal memo creation through asset release and execution, while supporting improvements to processes, reporting, controls, and KPI tracking.
  • Partner with Contract Managers to coordinate licensing operations across assigned territories and/or product categories, ensuring timely and accurate deal administration.
  • Manage customer setup and approval activities within Customer Records Management (CRM) and support deal reconciliation within RightsLogic (RSG) to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and process integrity.
  • Maintain and update deal maker, customer, and contract information within RightsLogic for active licensing agreements.
  • Generate status reports, operational metrics, and ad hoc reports and analyses from CRM, RightsLogic, and related business systems.
  • Prepare and distribute customs letters and other supporting documentation for executed agreements within assigned territories.

Job Description

TheCoordinator, Contract Managementplays an essential role in supporting the successful execution of licensing partnerships for NBCUniversal's world-class portfolio of brands and franchises. Reporting to theDirector, ContractOperations, this position helps coordinate the contract lifecycle across assigned territories and/or product categories, ensuring licensing agreements are accurately processed, executed, andmaintainedfrom deal memo through revenue recognition.

The Contract Management team partners closely with Category Management, Finance, Legal, Controllership, and IT to shepherd licensing deals frominitialdeal memo through contract execution, asset release, and payment. This role contributes to the seamless administration of licensing agreements while developingexpertisein licensing operations, rights management systems, contract administration, and deal execution.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, witha strong senseof ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role provides exposure to licensing operations, contract management, deal execution, rights administration, and cross-functional business processes, serving asa strong foundationfor growth within Contract Management and the broader Consumer Products organization.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate licensing agreements throughout the contract lifecycle, from deal memo creation through asset release and execution, while supporting improvements to processes, reporting, controls, and KPI tracking.

Partner with Contract Managers to coordinate licensing operations across assigned territories and/or product categories, ensuringtimelyandaccuratedealadministration.

Maintain and updatedealmaker,customer, and contract information within RightsLogic for active licensing agreements.

Prepare and distribute customs letters and other supporting documentation for executed agreements within assigned territories.

Serve as a systems resource for rights and contract management tools, providing training, guidance, and support to internal stakeholders as needed.

Partner with Finance and Controllership teams to research, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting and deal-entry discrepancies.

Contribute to special projects and operational initiatives, includingmaintainingLicensing Guidelines, monitoring product approval workflows, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of experience in contract administration, licensing, consumer products, sales operations, finance, legal operations, ora relatedfield.

Desired Characteristics
