The Child Care Coordinator primarily supports the Child Care Director in overseeing the daily operations of a childcare facility, including supervising staff, implementing curriculum, ensuring children's safety and well-being, and assisting with administrative tasks, all while adhering to licensing regulations and maintaining a positive learning environment for children.

Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision: Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback; covering for absent staff members as needed.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Supporting the Director in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum; observing classroom activities; guiding teachers on lesson planning and activities.
  • Child Development and Safety: Monitoring children's behavior; ensuring compliance with safety regulations; responding to emergencies; observing and documenting developmental progress; maintaining staff-to-child ratios.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintaining records; assisting with staff scheduling, parent communication, facility supplies, and budget management; supporting staff hiring and meetings; customer service and family engagement activities.
  • Facility Management: Ensuring cleanliness and organization; compliance with licensing requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an Early Childhood Daycare Center.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification; CARI & CHRI clearance.
