Job Title: Coordinator, Best Buddies Living Operations
Department: State Operations and Programs
Reports to: Director, Best Buddies Living
Location: Remote

Salary range: $42,000-45,000
The Coordinator, Best Buddies Living (BBL) Operations provides critical support to ensure the effective day-to-day functioning of Best Buddies Living programs nationwide. This position is responsible for overseeing rent payments, processing security deposit reimbursements, tracking compliance documentation, and supporting donor processing and communication, and other operational needs. The coordinator works closely with Living program staff to ensure program goals are met and residents experience inclusive, well-managed community living.
Job Requirements – Qualified Applicants Must Have
- Strong project/time management skills - including planning, analysis, attention to detail, and problem solving - and willingness to multitask
- Strong written communication and editing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and basic understanding of accounting principles
- Initiative, dependability, drive for results, and self-assessment skills
- Ability to effectively gain information and insight through questioning/probing and observation of staff in the field, analyze information, and compile reports
- Must be comfortable engaging with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Must travel, use a personal cell phone, and work evenings and weekends as necessary in order to accomplish job responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum 4 years’ relevant experience
Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Marketing
- Works with Director to create quarterly newsletters
Operations
- Monitor Salesforce and provides updates to supervisors and residential managers as appropriate
- Coordinate between programs, development, and operations staff to ensure that programmatic goals are understood and met, and programmatic outcomes are achieved for all government and foundation contracts
- Create templates for letters of inquiry, thank you letters, and other standard communications
- Manage all TurboTenant accounts and set-up for all BBL locations
- Track donor information in RE and internal tracker and ensure proper stewardship is taking place
- Work with Residential Managers at each location to create and track lease renewals
- Provide updates to BBL leadership team about the status of compliance and operations across the pillar
- Oversee management of Support Team, who provide coverage during Residential Manger PTO. This includes trainings, emergency bypass compliance and payment tracking.
Human Resources
- Assist Directors in managing Residential Manager compliance including CPR training, internal training, housing agreement documents, renter’s insurance, etc.
- Collaborate on internal staff appreciation efforts including but not limited to birthdays, work anniversaries, kudos/shoutouts, etc.
Finance
- Submit donor transmittal form for all monthly payments including rent, membership, and additional fees
- Process security deposit reimbursement
- Make updates to Residential Managers’ budgets as needed
