Primary Purpose:

Primary Purpose: Facilitate the planning, evaluation, and delivery of the Section 504 and Dyslexia programs. Coordinate and implement all state and federal mandated assessments.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Certification:

• Master’s degree, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Specific knowledge of providing Section 504 services, including dyslexia interventions
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of state and federal mandated assessments
• Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
• Ability to facilitate and/or lead meetings related to Section 504 and dyslexia services and state testing procedures

Experience:

• Minimum of three years successful teaching experience

Work Schedule: 197 days
