Job summary

Orange Grove Center seeks a dedicated supervisor to manage staff and individuals in our assigned group homes in Tennessee. You will oversee home visits, ensure documentation, and uphold policy and licensure requirements.

This role requires coordinating with Case Management, training staff on ISP processes, accompanying residents to medical appointments, and participating in 24/7 on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; five years’ administrative supervisory experience in the field of intellectual disabilities will receive consideration in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to manage staff and solve problems; strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with agency policies, procedures and documentation relevant to group homes.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and supervise individuals in assigned group homes.
• Conduct home visits and complete all required documentation for visits to meet QA and licensure requirements.
• Collaborate with Case Management and participate in ISP/COS/SIS meetings.
• Train staff on ISP processes during weekly home visits and maintain ongoing staff training on Paycom.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments using a personal vehicle as needed.
• Be on call 24/7 and cover shifts as needed; oversee staffing and coverage in the absence of a House Manager.

Summary: Responsible for the management and supervision of staff and individuals in the assigned group homes. Responsible for home visits and all documentation associated with those visits to meet all CQL, QA, and Licensure requirements. Oversee vital consents for the individuals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Implement both Agency and State policies and proceduresProven organization skillsAbility to adhere to varying circumstances and work as a part of a teamRegular collaboration with the Case Management departmentAbility to manage staff and problem solveTrain staff in all areas of the individual’s ISP during weekly home visitsTrains/Maintains continual staff training of aspects of Paycom as it applies to positionsAccompany individuals to medical appointments using personal vehicle as neededAttendance at all ISP/COS/SIS meetings pertaining to individual caseloadAttendance at medical appointments as neededCompleting required unannounced visits in the group homes on a monthly basisCompleting required documentation for scheduled group home visitsCompleting MAR checks with House MangersCompletion of required medication cabinet checks in the homesAssisting in staffing the homes when there is a needOversight of staff to ensure staff remain current on all required trainingsEnsure completion of corrections needed for daily notesRequired participation in 24/7 365 day 24 hour on call rotationCover shifts as needed.Cover homes without a House Manager.Other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:Successful completion if the required physical examination by an approved Orange Grove Center physicianSpecial Requirements:Obtain F Endorsement on existing valid Driver’s LicenseObtain Medication Certification for Unlicensed PersonnelObtain CPR/First Aid certificationQualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
