Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. is seeking a full-time Receiving Clerk to verify and maintain records for incoming and outgoing shipments for production. You will receive materials, ensure accuracy, and prepare DRP outbound documents, pull slips, and carton labels, while billing outbound DRPs as necessary.

The role requires warehouse experience and strong English literacy; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Work involves office and warehouse environments with common carrier interactions.

Qualifications

• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives and inventories products shipped to the warehouse by common carriers.
• Maintains and files paperwork received from common carriers.
• Maintains office files including load sheets and all office logs.
• Communicates discrepancies of inventory with supervisors, peers and subordinates.
• Pulls sample requests for Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and R&D as a back-up for the Receiving Clerk II.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. Receives and inventories products shipped to the warehouse by common carriers.

Job Specifications

• 1. Warehouse experience is preferred.
• 2. Able to read, write, and speak English is required.
• 3. English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• 4. Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, spreadsheets, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures as necessary.
• 5. Knowledge of principles to provide customer service.
• 6. Ability to speak, listen, use critical thinking skills and read to understand.

Working Conditions

• 1. Office and Warehouse environment.
• 2. The environment will be wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 70°F.
• 3. Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities.
