Job summary

Performance Food Group in New Jersey is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to compile and maintain records of quantity, type and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies; count material and post totals to inventory records; verify computations against physical counts and correct discrepancies.

You will check in delivery drivers, inspect returning trailers, verify returned goods and re-enter items into inventory; perform daily inventory on produce, monitor product

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise or supplies and posts totals to inventory/ property records.
• Verifies and records computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count.
• Checks in Delivery Drivers, inspecting all returning trailers, verify returned goods and damaged products and re-entering goods into inventory.
• Handles all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, taking daily inventory on produce and product.
• Sorts through pallets of bad products.
• Determines quality of products returned by customers.
• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Handles all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, taking daily inventory on produce and product spoiled. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

• Keeps inventory up on a daily basis.
• Sorts through pallets of bad products.
• Determines quality of products returned by customers.
