Job Description
This position is eligible for up to a $25,000 Sign On Bonus.
The pay range for this position is $31.25-61.36.
Position Summary: The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical education processes in designated specialty areas. They utilize adult learning theories to develop educational programs for staff, clients, and the community. The educator acts as a consultant and change agent, helping develop standards of care and applying change theory in clinical practice. They collaborate with nursing managers to ensure standards are met, maintain clinical competencies, and seek continuous improvement in practice.
Education, License & Certification: Must have a BSN and current NY RN licensure. A master's degree in nursing from an accredited program is required or enrollment in such a program, with completion within 3 years. Certification in Nursing Professional Development or clinical specialty is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years of clinical experience in the specialty, with demonstrated teaching and leadership skills.
