Job summary

Fort Bend Independent School District seeks a Campus Assessment Coordinator to lead testing coordination, data analysis, and instructional improvement at the campus level.

The role serves as liaison between accountability, testing, and campus leadership, overseeing intervention, remediation, and tutoring activities and coordinating data-driven strategies to improve student achievement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Valid Texas Teacher Certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom instruction, testing, tutoring and/or remediation services.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as school test coordinator for all national and state assessments except AP tests.
  • Coordinate and implement building level testing procedures and protocols for state testing.
  • Assist administration in reporting irregularities.
  • Maintain security of testing materials while in the building.
  • Prepare all necessary orders for testing materials.
  • Maintain records of students using substitute tests for credits.
  • Assist with analyzing national, state and local assessment data as it relates to the school, individual achievement and to the improvement of instruction.
  • Review assessment data with teachers individually and with departments, grade levels or instructional teams.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis associated with the Campus Improvement Plan.
  • Attend training sessions and site meetings related to assigned responsibilities.
  • Serve as a trained facilitator at the school site in areas related to assigned responsibilities.
  • Serve as liaison between the school administration and central office administration related to assigned responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with administration to develop and implement site-based professional development.
  • Plan and coordinate school intervention, remediation and tutorial programs/classes to include but not limited to: identification of students eligible for services based on analysis of data; identification of appropriate remediation services; communication with parents; scheduling of activities; maintaining all necessary records.

Job Overview

The Campus Assessment Coordinator will serve as the school test coordinator and serve as a member of the schools continuous improvement leadership team. The incumbent will also analyze data as it relates to the school, individual student achievement, and the improvement of instruction. The incumbent will oversee intervention, remediation, and tutoring activities at the school site. The Campus Assessment Coordinator will serve as liaison between the Department of Accountability, the Department of Testing, and the campus administrative team.

Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.
