Job summary

Purity Dairies in Nashville is seeking a Warehouse Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00pm – 10:30pm) to perform order picking, packing, palletizing, and loading/unloading in a dairy warehouse. You will operate warehouse equipment and maintain safety in a 35–40°F environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Stand/walk for the shift; lift up to 50 pounds; assist others when lifting.
• Work in a wet environment at 35–40°F; overtime, weekends and holidays may be required.

Purity Dairies is looking for a Warehouse Operator for our Nashville facility

The schedule will be 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2:00pm- 10:30pm

Our Purity Dairy has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, or dock environment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be ableto lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
