Job summary

Kemps is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator in Cedarburg, WI. You will perform a variety of warehouse tasks including picking, pulling, building orders, loading and unloading materials, and staging for delivery.

You will operate assigned stations or production lines, and play a key role in safely handling equipment in our cooler. We value reliability, teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure and decimals.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal).
• Must stand, walk, lift, bend, reach during shift.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stack/move cases up to 6–8 high.

Job description

Kemps is currently seeking a motivated and fast-paced Warehouse Operator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks including:

• Picking, pulling, and building orders
• Loading, unloading, and staging materials for delivery
• Operating assigned stations or production lines

Warehouse Operators also play a key role in safely operating material handling equipment and machinery in our cooler.

OUR OPERATORS FOR THIS POSITION

START AT: $ 27.71 , AFTER 1 YEAR: $ 30.75

SCHEDULE

2 night per week on 1st Shift, starting at 4am or 6am, working until 4pm. 2 nights per week on 2ndshift, starting at 4pm working 10-12 hour shifts. Rotating schedule

Requirements

• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
