Job summary

Meadow Gold Dairy is hiring a Warehouse Vacation Relief Operator in Billings, MT. You will perform a variety of warehouse tasks, from picking orders to loading trailers, while operating forklifts and other equipment in cooler and dock environments.

Typical pay starts at $23.26 per hour with a $0.50 night-shift premium for night work and CDL holders may receive a further premium. 4–10 hour shifts; overtime and weekends possible.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move cases up to 6-8 high.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and build customer orders.
• Paletize products for shipment.
• Load and unload trailers.

What You'll Do:

As a Warehouse Vacation Relief Operator, you will perform a variety of warehouse functions, including:

• Picking, pulling, and building customer orders
• Palletizing products for shipment
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Working at assigned warehouse stations and production lines as needed
• Safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment

This role requires working in warehouse, cooler, freezer, and dock environments while consistently following company safety and quality standards.

Candidates who already possess a valid CDL will receive an additional $1.00 per hour premium pay.

• $23.26 an hour + .50 cent Night Shift Differential when working majority of shift between the hours of 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM

SCHEDULE: 4 - 10hour work week, days will vary with Relief role.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be ableto lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
