Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV in Minnesota. The role involves loading and securing products, using manual or powered equipment, and ensuring product integrity before loading.

You’ll work a first-shift, full-time schedule with safety-first practices and opportunities for advancement within a long‑standing logistics leader. Benefits begin after a short eligibility period, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, life insurance, and retirement

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must read, write and understand English for job tasks and safety instructions.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers safely.
• Operate by hand or powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products before loading.
• Report any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor.
• Communicate special circumstances to the delivery driver via Shipping Loading Report.
• Keep the work area clean and debris-free.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to goods/equipment.

• Pay Rate: $23.75 per hour + $1.00 Perishable Premium.
• Monday to Friday, 5:30AM Start time.

What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Job duties will be completed by hand or by use of powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
• Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
