Roux, a new restaurant by 40North Restaurants / Villa Restaurant Group, is hiring Cooks for a Summit, NJ location. Join a fast-paced kitchen and help deliver great dining experiences during an opening phase. Walk-ins encouraged at a job fair on Oct 8-9 at Office Tavern Grill, Summit.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Properly store and label food and ingredients.
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen setup.
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
