Job summary

Delaware North Gaming in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, is seeking full-time Cooks to join Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, WV, with opportunities across The French Quarter or the Food Court, offering diverse culinary environments.

As a Cook, you will prep food, follow recipe guidelines, maintain sanitation, operate and clean kitchen equipment, and work with a team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Delaware North Gaming is seeking full-time Cooks to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. With opportunities available in multiple dining venues, including The French Quarter or the Food Court, this role offers the chance to work in a variety of culinary environments while building valuable experience. As a Cook, you will play an important role in preparing quality food for guests, maintaining food safety standards, and collaborating with team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Pay

$14.00 - $16.00 / hour

More about you

• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
• No experience or diploma required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more
• Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• Exposed to variable temperatures
