Job Duties

• Set up and break down cooking stations and replenish supplies.
• Assist in grilling, wok cooking, sautéing, soup stirring, temperature monitoring of roasts and broils, and prep of vegetables for sauce cooks.
• Observe, learn, and perform tasks performed by other kitchen staff.
• Work across all kitchen phases to gain exposure to the entire operation.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
• Provide courteous service to team members and staff.
• Make related work as requested.

Experience

1 year experience in Asian, Italian, or casual cooking in a specialty restaurant preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or GED and some college level courses.

Skills
