Job description

Responsibilities include:
  1. preparing and cooking product
  2. operating equipment including pump fill stations, kettles, tumbler chiller, lift, hoist, tipper tie, and incline conveyor
  3. assembling and disassembling equipment including 2045C Hot Fill Machine
  4. gathering, prepping, and weighing fresh ingredients
  5. completing all necessary paperwork required for the position
  6. providing timely and accurate communication to the salad production areas concerning production needs
  7. monitoring product temperatures
  8. gathering samples for Quality Control
  9. stacking products in tubs or racks
  10. accurately following recipes
  11. working in other areas as needed
  12. other duties as assigned
The required qualifications for this position include:
  1. must be at least 18 years old
  2. must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  3. must demonstrate safe working habits
  4. must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
  5. must be able to learn and perform all positions
  6. must possess general knowledge of machine operation
  7. must be able to push tubs and drums weighing in excess of 625 pounds
  8. must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  9. must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)
  10. must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  11. must have excellent attendance and punctuality
  12. must be willing to assist other team members in other areas
  13. must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
  14. must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision
  15. must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  16. must possess basic math skills
  17. must be able to communicate effectively
  18. must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work
