Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking Delivery Drivers for the Ardmore store at 18 West Lancaster Ave, Ardmore, PA 19003. You will deliver warm cookies, ensure orders are complete, and interact with customers in-person or by phone to provide a friendly experience.

Hours include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will split time between the bakery and the road, using our delivery app to meet Insomnia’s standards and earn on-demand pay options where available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
• Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements.
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile.
• Ensure every order arrives warm, complete, and ready to impress.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices.
• Welcome guests in the bakery and provide friendly service between deliveries.
• Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders.
• Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
• Work closely with your bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.
• Help create the kind of guest experience that keeps people coming back.

• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers. DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the 2-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
• Must have your own car, license, valid registration, and valid insurance
• Must be able to pass a motor vehicles background check

As a Delivery Driver, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! Physical Requirements

• Drive safely for extended periods throughout a shift
• Frequently enter and exit a vehicle
• Stand and walk for extended periods while working inside the bakery
• Lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products
• Work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries
• Work around ovens, refrigeration equipment, and moderate bakery noise levels
• Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership

Work Environment
You'll split your time between our bakery and the road.
Inside the bakery, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. Outside the bakery, you'll drive in varying weather and traffic conditions while following all safety policies and traffic laws.

Schedule Expectations

Our busiest times are evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Delivery Drivers should have availability during these peak business hours. Scheduling needs vary by location.
