Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Claremont is seeking a friendly Cookie Crew member to greet guests, take orders, and bake warm cookies with care. You’ll help customers understand the menu, ensure accurate orders, and deliver a fun, fast-paced shopping experience.

This role offers flexible part-time schedules, daily pay options, vacation and sick time, and an engaging team environment with opportunities for growth and free cookies on every shift.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of customer service experience (preferred).
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take orders.
• Explain menu items and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Provide a warm experience in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and scoop ice cream.
• Ensure delivery orders are packed and sent correctly.
• Handle cash and payments accurately with no shortages or overages.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness and sanitation.

As a member of the Cookie Crew at our Claremont store located at 101 N Indian Hill Blvd #105, Claremont, CA 91711! , you are the ultimate Insomniac. Not only are you the point person at the front of the store for interacting with our customers, but you also get to bake all of our awesome Warm and Delicious cookies as well!

WHAT ELSE WILL I DO AS A MEMBER OF THE COOKIE CREW?

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection & a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role - preferred
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor
• Customer service focused and a willingness to exceed guest expectations
• Great communication, organizational and math skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
