Boiling Point is seeking a motivated restaurant cook to prepare items with precision, following BP’s gold standard for recipe execution, appearance, and quality. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring sanitary practices and timely service.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of restaurant experience, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask within a team. A friendly, positive attitude helps maintain a welcoming dining experience for patrons.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of restaurant experience, preferably as a cook.
• Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• High School diploma preferred.
• All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by BP’s gold standard.
• Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
• Responsible for maintaining all equipment machines to prepare food including powering on and off at the beginning and close of the restaurant.
• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
• Verify that prepared food meets BP requirements for quality.
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per BP's guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with BP’s code of ethics, integrity and conduct.

To provide patron satisfaction in our restaurant that revolves around preparing food for recipe execution, appearance, and quality of food to lead to an overall great dining experience for the patrons.

Physical demands:

• Ability to continuously stand or walk
• Ability to bend and lift occasionally
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently

Work environment:

• Work will be conducted in a restaurant environment
• May encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment in the kitchen if needed to enter that area
• May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces
• Noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud
