Job Description

The Cook will safely prepare food items according to menu specifications and standard recipes for service to guests across all outlets. The Cook aims for excellent plate presentation and quality.

  • Create order lists for recipe preparations.
  • Communicate effectively with other Cooks and Sous Chefs.
  • Train lower-level Cooks on proper equipment use.
  • Read recipes and gather necessary ingredients.
  • Cook, prepare, serve, and assemble all food items for the outlet.
  • Follow control procedures for food cost and quality.
  • Perform side work, including replenishing and restocking supplies.
  • Ensure station cleanliness and proper setup before, during, and after shifts.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Work across different kitchen stations such as Sauté, Broiler, Pantry, Pasta, Grill, etc.
  • Prepare hot and cold sauces.
  • Handle delicate equipment like knives with fine dexterity.
  • Operate kitchen equipment including slicers, steamers, fryers, ovens, grills, mixers, and kettles.
  • Lift and move goods weighing up to 150 lbs.
  • Perform tasks involving bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, and walking significant distances.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in food preparation and knowledge.
  • Culinary education is encouraged but not required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain valid drivers and gaming licenses as required.
  • Successful passing of background, alcohol, and drug screenings.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
