Job description

The Bostonian Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Part Time Cook (Skilled Nursing Facility) for 16 hours per week. The Bostonian, a non for profit organization, is a spacious, recently renovated 121- bed skilled nursing facility with a unique neighborhood setting conveniently located in metro Boston MA, accessible by public transportation. The Bostonian is a preferred post acute provider for major acute care hospitals in the Boston area. We provide short term rehabilitation, long term care and respite care. Come join our team!

Projected Schedule:
Wednesday 5am-1:30pm

Every Other Weekend, 5am-1:30pm

Job Duties of Cook (Skilled Nursing Facility):

  • Preparation of meals in accordance with planned menus and recipes.
  • Preparation of meals that are tasty and appetizing in appearance.
  • Serve food in accordance with established portion control and safety standards.
  • Maintain high levels of sanitation during and at the completion of all food production assignments.
  • Supervise kitchen staff as directed by the Food Service Director.
