Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is seeking a Station Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards while keeping your station clean and organized for efficient service.

In this role you’ll apply advanced cooking techniques, manage multiple orders, inspect plates before serving, and uphold safety and sanitation standards to ensure a great guest experience. Hilton offers a rewarding workplace and generous team benefits.

• Prepare high-quality dishes according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Delight guests by managing orders efficiently and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Execute advanced cooking techniques with knowledge of sauces, roasting, grilling, and plating
• Inspect and finalize plates to ensure quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and sanitary stations while following safety protocols
• Manage multiple tickets/orders, assist with training, and step in for minor supervisory duties as needed
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations to ensure guest and team member well-being

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Prepare high-quality dishes: Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Delight our guests: Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
• Execute advanced cooking techniques: Maintain a strong knowledge of more advanced cooking (e.g., sauces, roasting, grilling, plating) with the possibility of working a station independently as needed
• Inspect and finalize plates: Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
• Manage product and operational needs: Manage multiple tickets/orders at once, assist with training, and step in for minor supervisory duties as needed
• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
