Job summary

Briarwood Village is seeking a Cook to support daily meal service operations in a caring environment. You will prepare meals per the daily menu and diet specifications, verify tray tickets, and maintain sanitation across dishware and equipment.

Ideal candidates read, write, and follow instructions; a high school diploma is preferred. Ohio-specific certifications may be required for health compliance. We encourage trainees and provide ongoing education and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, perform simple calculations and follow oral or written instructions.
• A high school diploma is preferred. ServSafe Certification recommended, or for Ohio only, Ohio Department of Health Level II Certification in Food Protection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to the daily menu and diet specifications.
• Verify tray tickets.
• Wash & sanitize dishware.
• Clean & sanitize equipment.
• Operate all food service equipment in a safe manner.
