Job summary

New Horizon Foods in St. Louis Park, MN is hiring a Cook/Server. Shifts 9:30 am–6:30 pm, 7 days a week with no late nights, serving about 75 people per meal period.

This role blends cooking and serving in a small, friendly operation. Daily pay is available. Responsibilities include meal prep, food storage, keeping health code standards, presenting attractive dishes, and providing excellent resident and guest service.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while cooking/serving.
• Ability to follow recipes and basic cooking techniques.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• One year of bulk cooking experience with references.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation.
• Food preparation and proper storage.
• Assist maintaining health code regulations in kitchen.
• Ensure food is presented attractively.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Follow menus and recipes provided onsite.
