The cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, seasoning, and serving attractive, nutritious, and balanced meals, including meat, fish, fowl, vegetables, fruits, soups, salads, desserts, breads, and pastries, as specified by the menus. The role involves carrying out duties in accordance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.

Education: High school diploma preferred; minimum ability to read and write English.
Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare dietary department preferred.
Job Knowledge: Ability to prepare and cook large quantities, aware of special diets, seasoning, cooking times, temperature controls, and waste management.
Note: Team members scheduled for 24+ hours/week are eligible for benefits, as are their families.
