Job summary

The Shores, a United Methodist Communities senior living community in Ocean City, NJ, is seeking a Cook for our dining team. This full-time role offers shifts ending by 7 PM and every other weekend off, with pay up to $25/hour depending on experience.

You will prepare meals for residents, follow recipes, maintain safety standards, assist with meal service, and help keep an organized, sanitary kitchen. English communication with the care team is required; ServSafe is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 1–2 years of cooking or meal preparation experience.
• Able to read recipes and safety instructions and communicate with the care team in English.

Up to $25/hour, dependent on experience. Every other weekend off, and shifts end by 7 PM. Cook for residents who'll know your name at The Shores in Ocean City, NJ.

The Shores, a United Methodist Communities senior living community, is hiring a Cook for our dining team.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• 1–2 years of cooking or meal preparation experience

Preferred:

• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training

Schedule
