Job summary

Bristol Glen, a UMC community in Newton, NJ, is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals with attention to quality, temperature, and presentation. This full-time role runs 5:30am–2pm, five days a week with alternating weekends, offering meaningful work in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cooking and meal preparation experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and serve high-quality meals with attention to consistency, presentation, flavor, and proper food temperature
• Maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards throughout food preparation, storage, service, and kitchen cleaning
• Follow recipes,portionguidelines, and proper cooking techniques to support quality, reduce waste, and ensure cost-effective meal production
• Support all dining operations including daily dining service, catering,special events, and retail food programs
• Maintain clean and safe work environment

What You'll Need:
