Job description

Summary

Ensure sauce ingredients are properly measured and utilized by following the ingredient and production schedule list of the day.

Education & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred. Food service experience is helpful but not required. Able to read and write to complete required paperwork. Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per day. Able to lift up to 50-60 lbs. frequently. Must work well in a team and individually. Capable of operating various control panels for cooking sauces. Able to work in hot and cold temperatures. Capable of repetitive physical work. Able to read a scale for formulas. Must be able to kneel, stand for long periods, and walk up and down steps. Able to operate impact wrenches. Comfortable around major spices and onions. Forklift operation experience is preferred.

Essential Functions
  • Proficiently complete Level I duties such as sampling, finishing tasks, oil, and labor.
  • Follow daily production schedules accurately.
  • Rinse kettles after use.
  • Operate fork trucks and pallet jacks to move ingredients.
  • Lift boxes and drums weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Enter confined spaces within kettles for cleaning and sanitizing when required.
  • Sanitize work areas following QA standards, including handling spray hoses and walking on wet/slippery surfaces.
  • Manage ingredient quantities via control panels for different batches.
  • Report significant changes affecting ingredient control.
Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain confidentiality of employees, customers, and consumers.
  • Report to work on time.
  • Be honest and reliable.
  • Support team efforts and assist co-workers as needed.
  • Complete tasks under stressful conditions.
  • Adhere to dress code; steel-toed boots required.
