Job summary

Optalis Healthcare is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents in our Columbus, OH facility. You will follow planned menus, therapeutic diets, and standardized recipes to support resident health and satisfaction.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year institutional food service experience as a cook.

Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare dietary department.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Standing/walking most of the shift.
• Ability to lift 5--40 lbs and push carts up to 300 lbs with assistance.
• Work in hot, humid kitchen environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals.
