Job summary

Parkhurst Dining seeks a cook to join our team, contributing to a values-driven environment in a growing organization. You will prepare meals following Parkhurst recipes, maintain quality and presentation, and ensure hot food safety and clean line presentation throughout the service.

You will collaborate with line servers and complete daily production sheets to support smooth operations. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to company standards, with opportunities to grow

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and enforce batch cooking.
• Ensure the quality of the food produced and maintain quality throughout the service period with production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation: use appropriate pans, garnish as per recipe, use proper utensils, and maintain serving temperatures as specified.
• Maintain open lines of communication with line servers regarding daily food item details.
• Complete daily production sheets.

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and also enforce the “batch” cooking method.
• Ensure the quality of the food produced and maintain the quality and quantity of food throughout the service period, utilizing production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation: proper pans are used, pans are garnished, proper utensils are used according to recipe specifications, and food products are maintained at the proper serving temperatures as specified by recipes or management.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other associates, e.g., line servers, concerning specific information about food items on a daily basis.
• Complete daily production sheets.
