Pay Rate: $12.00 / hour

Cooks are directly responsible for creating great guest experiences by consistently serving quality food in a timely manner. Duties and Responsibilities

The individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work-related activities:

1. Complete all training requirements including:
2. Zaxbys Back of House Development Plan
3. Hands-on stations training
4. Any additional training required by Zax LLC
5. Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests
6. Maintain awareness of current promotions
7. Enthusiastically represent the Zaxbys brand
8. Assist with guest service and front of house operations
9. Prepare menu items according to company standards and in a safe and sanitary manner
10. Ensure food and beverages are handled according to safety regulations and guidelines
11. Safely operate food preparation and cooking equipment
12. Maintain product levels in assigned stations in order to be prepared for immediate needs
13. Prepare and cook food items according to company standards
14. Accurately assemble and package guest orders
15. Maintain a clean and safe working environment
16. Keep work areas clean and organized
17. Maintain equipment and inform management of maintenance needs
18. Assist with inventory and storage management
19. Receive and stock incoming inventory deliveries
20. Hold and store food items following food safety guidelines
21. Inform management when inventory is needed
22. Clean and organize storage areas
23. Complete all tasks with a sense of urgency, in a timely manner
24. Work safely and follow all safety guidelines and procedures
25. Other duties as assigned

The following requirements must be met in order to qualify for this position.

1. Must be 16 years of age or older
2. Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week
