Job Details

Reports To: Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Job Objective: To prepare and cook food products as specified by the Manager in Charge, adhering to the Church's Operating Standards Manual (OSM). Tasks should be completed in a timely, clean, and orderly manner.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up batter tables, gather smallwares, and prepare batter mixes.
• Ensure call sheets are complete, posted, and used effectively.
• Check all equipment and report malfunctions immediately.
• Balance fryers' color and maintain proper shortening levels.
• Filter and clean fryers following safety guidelines.
• Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs.
• Prepare and cook food as directed by the Manager in Charge.
• Ensure all food meets quality standards and specifications, including proper holding times.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work area following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Verify stock levels and availability at the batter station.
• Organize and clean the cooler regularly.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager in Charge.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift medium to heavy weights (up to 50 pounds frequently, 75 pounds occasionally), stand and walk for up to 8 hours, climb ladders, reach overhead, and perform repetitive motions.
