Reports To (Title): Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Job Objective: To prepare and cook food products as specified by the Manager in Charge of the Shift while adhering to the specifications and procedures contained in the Cooking Section of the Church's Operating Standards Manual (the "OSM"). Accomplishes tasks in a timely, clean, and orderly manner.

Essential Job Functions

Primary Functions

• Sets up the batter table, collects all necessary smallwares, and prepares batter mix.
• Ensures call sheets are complete, posted, and used.
• Checks all equipment and reports any malfunctions to the Manager in Charge.
• Balances fryer colors and maintains proper shortening levels.
• Filters and cleans fryers following safety guidelines.
• Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs.
• Prepares and cooks food as directed by the Manager in Charge.
• Ensures food meets specifications, procedures, and quality standards, including holding times.

Secondary Functions

• Maintains a clean work area following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Verifies stock levels at the batter area.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of the cooler.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Manager in Charge.

Physical Demands

Lifting Requirements: Medium to Heavy (up to 50 lbs frequently, 75 lbs occasionally).

• Stand and walk continuously for up to 8 hours.
• Lift and stack items up to 50 lbs regularly, and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Lift and carry trash bags and push/pull equipment regularly.
• Climb ladders or stools as needed.
• Stooping, squatting, reaching, handling various items, and communicating effectively are required.
